Practical
Questions
The practical answers, in one place.
The format
How does a consultation take place?
By audio call. The first conversation with Shweta lasts forty to fifty minutes; follow-ups are around thirty. With the Chief Nutritionist the first call is thirty minutes and follow-ups twenty to thirty.
Do I need to live nearby?
No. Consultations happen by audio call, so clients work with the practice from wherever they are.
How often are the follow-ups?
On the longer plans, roughly every ten days. The single-session consultation has no follow-up.
Your plan
What is a Prakriti analysis?
An assessment of your Ayurvedic constitution across Vata, Pitta and Kapha, and of where it has drifted out of balance. It shapes the plan: two people with the same symptom may be given quite different food.
Who writes my plan?
On Shweta's consultations, Shweta writes it herself. With the Chief Nutritionist, Birangi Shah prepares it and Shweta supervises.
Is WhatsApp support included?
It depends on the plan. The one-, two- and three-month plans with Shweta include WhatsApp support between sessions; the single session does not.
Medical care
Will I be asked to stop my medication?
No. Nutrition sits alongside your medical care, never in place of it. Any change to prescribed medication is for the clinician who prescribed it.
